| Diva is named after the co-owners' mother & grandmother, Diva Vitali, which is truly her name. Kiss Me In The Garden has made a private label line of bath & body products with our Diva's vintage photo on the cover. The products are fantastic and many of the nail technicians choose to use them during their services because the quality is so great. The clients absolutely love the products and the story behind Diva's photo. Diva and Eddie Vitali met in the 1940's in Fresno, California. They were married on August 10th, 1947. They farmed and ran a fruit and vegetable stand in Fresno for over 50 years and raised four children. Eddie passed in January of 2009, just a few months shy of their 62 wedding anniversary. Diva is 85 years only and often goes to Diva A Nail Boutique to relax and get her nails done. She is an amazing lady who taught her family to work hard, but be fabulous at the same time. Patricia Owen began her career in St. Louis, Missouri in 1977 as a Promotional Assistant and make-up artist for Estee Lauder cosmetics. She was later promoted to Training Associate and conducted training programs for Estee Lauder Beauty Advisors in the St. Louis area. Married in 1980 to Jay Owen, Patricia relocated to Detroit, Michigan where she continued her career in cosmetics as a Special Events Coordinator and Regional Educator for Estee Lauder in a tri-state area. The couple relocated to Hilton Head in 1983 to open a women’s retail clothing store and shortly thereafter acquired the rights to have the Island’s only Estee Lauder department. |
